Partick Thistle - The Early Years
1925 Scottish Junior Cup Final
The 1925 Junior Cup Final was played at Firhill between Saltcoats Vics and local team St Anthonys. The first game was a draw, as was the replay at Love Street. Saltcoats won the 2nd replay, also at Firhill.
You can view film of the game at Scottish Screen Archive. Its a fascinating picture of pre-1927 Firhill without the Main Stand.

Thanks for link to 1925 Junior cup final. My grandfather is St Anthony’s player running out after keeper! Was looking at PT website. Have photo of my grandfather Robert Robertson with Jackie Husband (I think) on pitch at Firhill as I think he worked on turnstiles as did my father (also Robert Robertson) who eventually ended up cashing up takings for each home match. I remember walking through under the stand and only getting to see the second half! Keep up good work.
